Some of you might know that we are not creating new payment gateways on e-Commerce package for one reason: we are too few to implement all of them! We will maintain some, because they have a global presence and they are relevant for most people.

So we are now asking everyone that want a new payment gateway, create your own module. We will, in counterpart, provide some good documentation. I might say its very very easy. You might see COD module because i created several comments into the code. Paypal and Authorize.net modules also might help you to see real implementations.

Doing some search, we can list some payment gateways:
2Checkout, AsianPay, Authorize AIM / SIM, BluePay, ccAvenue, ccNow, ChronoPay, PayPal Pro Direct Payment (US), PayPal Express Checkout, HSBC (API), Linkpoint Connect, Mals-E, Moneybookers, Nochex (Basic & APC), PayJunction, PayMate, PayOffline, Google Checkout, Print Order Form, Protx (VPS Form), psiGate, SECPay, Verisign, WorldPay Junior

I have checked the COD-module

and I doubt whether this is easy. I very much would like to use th e-commerce module and then connect to the Dutch iDEAL payment service. What would it cost to edit the module for me so that I can use it with iDEAL?
